Conservation District Intern

Clinton County Soil and Water Conservation District

I graduated with a major in ecology in the earth and environmental science program at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. During my semesters at Plattsburgh, I’ve had many achievements like graduating from the applied environmental science program, becoming a teacher’s assistant for ecology lab, being chosen for an applied learning grant, and being voted in as vice president for the botanical society. I have a passion for learning about new plant species and the different adaptations they may have. In particular, plants found in wetlands interest me the most with their unique adaptations. In the future, I aspire to travel the world at first, but then to settle in a little mountain home in either Upstate New York or Vermont. In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes, socializing with my friends, gardening, petting dogs, and watching some of my favorite shows like Schitt’s Creek.
