As an undergraduate at SUNY Plattsburgh, I completed an internship with Miner Institute working on a few different projects including a tile-drainage project that monitors the effects of agricultural drainage on nutrient transport. Over the summer I conducted a project on nutrient mass balance for the farm, which focused on nutrient inefficiencies on dairy farms and management options to reduce their waste. I presented my work at the Lake Champlain Research Conference in Burlington, VT in January 2026.
