My name is Owen Allen. I am an undergraduate student in the Center for Earth and Environmental Science at SUNY Plattsburgh. I am working on the “Salty Water” project where I am sampling water from different sites in the Lake Champlain Basin to accrue data to be used in high school classrooms for students to learn more about water quality and environmental work. I am passionate about preserving our land and water resources to be used to maintain wildlife habitats while simultaneously feeding our growing human population. I also enjoy getting outside to hike, kayak and ski.
