My independent study at SUNY Plattsburgh involved collaborating with restoration ecologists and field personnel to develop sustainable solutions to manage and implement projects on solar farms. I am currently working as a Biologist with the NYSDEC Bureau of Habitat, administering the Protection of Waters (Article 15) and Freshwater Wetlands (Article 24) programs for DEC Region 4. I previously worked as a Fish and Wildlife Technician in the Bureau supporting stream and wetland permitting, site inspections and aquatic habitat assessments. Additional experience includes forestry work under the administration of the 480a Forest Tax Law Program.
