Plant Protection Technician, USDA

United States Department of Agriculture (Newark, NJ)

Thomas is a graduate of the Natural Science master’s program. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Plant Science at UC Santa Cruz, where he focused on plant ecology and population dynamics. His thesis work focused on the mutualistic interactions between smooth cordgrass (Spartina alterniflora) and ribbed mussels (Geukensia demissa). His general research interests are plant-invertebrate mutualisms, biogeography, and invasive species dynamics.
